Dun Laoghaire Pier Part One

On possibly one of the coldest days of the year today so far, myself and Louise had the bright idea to go for a walk and take some photos on Dun Laoghaire Pier. Despite the weather.... we had a lot of fun! The pier has always been a place for me to unwind from the chaos of day to day. It reminds me of family walks as a kid..often with a Teddys ice-cream! Yum!

Iveagh Gardens

With the christmas lights being turned on this week in Dublin,  we are getting excited about all things christmassy! How better to start off the festive season with a photo shoot in the beautiful Iveagh Gardens. In this cold weather Aoife stayed warm and cozy in a cute robin jumper from Dunnes Stores while strolling around the park….who said it was too early for festive jumpers?!

The Little Museum of Dublin

This museum is free on Wednesday afternoons. So today we decided to pop in for an impromptu photo shoot! The museum is small (like its name suggests!) but well worth a look. It tells the story of Dublin in the 20th Century and is filled with donations of artifacts from the public. To our surprise there was temporary photo exhibit titled 'Where were you?' on display downstairs. The exhibit is a celebration of youth culture, street style, and teen life from the 1950's to the 1990's. Definitely worth a look!

Penneys 3

This week was Aoife's turn to be in front of the camera. The weather is beginning to get chilly so its time to start wrapping up. It wasn't quite penneys sale rail but I couldn't resist this maroon fedora hat for €8 and rings for €5.

Penneys sale rail 2

This week I snook off to Penneys on my own and picked up this cream lace dress for Louise to wear. It had a really pretty bow at the back and was a bargain at only €7 reduced from €16! It was a beautiful (rare) sunny day in Dublin so we took advantage of the weather and went to the War Memorial Gardens. The park is stunning and we were spoilt with both the location and weather.
