Myself and Louise decided to do a shoot at one of our favourite places, Killiney Hill. Whilst she tackled shooting the hill, I tackled shooting her in this gorgeous Topshop number! I won't lie...I slightly forced Louise to buy this dress. It was reduced for €65 to €17 and when she tried it on I just wanted to place her on top of a Christmas tree!! A girls gotta love sparkles :-) . P.S .... I also just had to shoot Louise's jacket and scarf, how cosy do they look! xxx

Winter walk
From time to time on Disassemble Dublin we are going to photograph the places we love around Dublin for no other reason then that we love being in these places/spaces! So myself and Aoife got wrapped up warm and headed to the beautiful Killiney Hill for a wintry day walk. Even though the days are getting shorter, for me the light at this time of year is the most spectacular, there is a unique quality to it that makes the textures, colours and ordinary surroundings just pop…..and today was no exception.

Queen of Tarts
Today myself and Louise lunched at the cosy Queen Of Tarts café on Cows Lane. This café has been a long standing favourite of ours and I am delighted to be doing a blog post about it. As the name suggests, Queen of tarts holds the crown for having some of Dublin's most delicious sweets and deserts. It's always a chore to decide on which desert to choose after your meal, deciding between the biggest, fluffiest meringues you have ever seen or the to die for carrot cake amongst other options. (Louise would argue its the best carrot cake in all Dublin!) The café also has delicious savoury dishes and today we shared a feta, courgette, red pepper and olive tapenade tart, and a butternut squash soup with a devine ham, brie and apple chutney sandwich. Yum! If you are looking for somewhere cosy, tasty and homely to have lunch or while away a cold afternoon...pay a visit to Queen Of Tarts and you won't regret it :-) .

Noshington Café
Best Lemon Cheesecake on the planet!!!
Today we had the pleasure of grabbing lunch in Noshington Café! The Café is on South Circular road right opposite Griffith college, and is an absolute hidden gem! The food is to die for and amazing value for money to boot. How does a falafel wrap, salt & pepper calamari or a Thai chicken salad sound? Not to mention the deserts...I would quite happily argue with anyone that is has the best lemon cheese cake in town! The owner Lizzy O'Sullivan has put her heart and soul into Noshington and it shows in every last detail from the menu to the decor. The café is also open for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings so if you can't make lunch you should definitely pop in for dinner :-) .
