Christmas Mitten Clips

The finished piece

Having a bit of fun and getting into the christmas mood we decided to do some crafty bits on the blog this week. Aoife found these DIY felt mitten clips from Martha Stewart's website through Pinterest and if its good enough for Martha then its good enough for us!;-) So we got all the materials together and got cracking! It's a really simple and cute idea for either decorations for the tree or pressies or even christmas card holders…So if you're feeling crafty on these dark wintry nights it is worth giving them a go.

Poolbeg

Following on from the winter walk post, we decided to do another photography post featuring the most recognisable landmark in Dublin…Poolbeg. Who hasn't smiled on a flight home as they see the two towers appearing through the clouds. It particularly holds a special place in Aoife's heart as she grew up around the corner from it…so this post is for her.

Thanksgiving!

Ever since a few of my friends, including Aoife, spent a year in San Francisco, its been a little tradition of ours to celebrate Thanksgiving! This year each person took a different course or side dish for the dinner. I was on starters and Aoife on the bird and stuffing.  We got carried away with the festivities and sadly we don't have a huge amount of foodie photos to show you guys as there was 10 hungry mouths to feed (including ourselves ;-)) This is only a taster of the mountain of food that was there. Food comas all around….Can't wait till Christmas dinner now!

Killiney Hill meets Topshop!

Myself and Louise decided to do a shoot at one of our favourite places, Killiney Hill. Whilst she tackled shooting the hill, I tackled shooting her in this gorgeous Topshop number! I won't lie...I slightly forced Louise to buy this dress. It was reduced for €65 to €17 and when she tried it on I just wanted to place her on top of a Christmas tree!! A girls gotta love sparkles :-) . P.S .... I also just had to shoot Louise's jacket and scarf, how cosy do they look! xxx
